We are able to work directly with homeowners in a full-service capacity as well as with interior designers as custom drapery specialists.

 
  • Every project begins with our Discovery of Service Call. Through this personalized conversation, you and I (Tiffany) will discuss your project and whether Blue Opus Interiors aligns with your needs. Take the first step toward having nurturing space with this essential first conversation.

  • Window treatments are an often-overlooked, but essential element of design. Not only can drapery provide the perfect finishing touch of color and texture to a space, it also serves a functional purpose – filtering and blocking light, dampening sound, and complementing the color palette.  As a Certified Window Expert, I can weave window treatments into your overall design.

    This service begins with our Window Treatment Consultation, which is an in-person opportunity to delve into your window design objectives, explore creative ideas, and develop a tailored plan. In this collaborative session, I (Tiffany) will evaluate your window spaces and requirements, offering recommendations. Afterward, you'll receive a written summary that includes next steps moving forward.

  • This is our most comprehensive service, which covers everything from space planning, furniture selection, window treatments, ordering and installation, styling, and more. Whether you're furnishing a single room or undergoing a whole-home renovation, we transform your space, from floor to finish, while leading you through our proven design process.

    This packages begins with a Full-Service Design Consultation, which is an in-person opportunity to discuss your project goals in detail, explore design ideas, and make a broad plan. During this collaborative session, we'll assess your space and needs, while providing expert insights. After the consultation, you'll receive a written summary to guide your design journey. This summary will serve as a foundation to build upon if you hire us for full-service interior design moving forward.

We take pride in being at the forefront of design innovation, and we offer photo-realistic digital renderings of drapery in your actual space, which allows you to clearly picture the final result so you can invest with confidence.

Planning

The design process begins with a comprehensive consultation where we gain a deep understanding of your needs and how your home can become a nurturing space. This valuable insight forms the foundation of a design proposal and guides our direction moving forward.

Sourcing

Sourcing is the key to creating a nurturing home. We curate timeless and finely crafted fabrics and furnishings to fit the design vision laid out in the planning stage. Our trade relationships and exclusive resources ensure that your space receives precisely what it calls for.

Installation

The installation phase is the realization of the design vision. Partnering with our trusted installation team, we meticulously place and arrange every element, ensuring it integrates seamlessly into your space, creating a harmonious and functional home.

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Timeline

We always plan ahead by asking if there’s a date you need a project completed by. This way, we are able to deliver the right design, while accounting for your schedule. In general, draperies and furnishings can take anywhere from 1-6 months, depending on the vendor and level of customization.

Investment

We guide our clients to a realistic investment and are almost always able to deliver the right design within that budget. For our design fee, we offer either a simple hourly rate or a flat fee, depending if the project scope is clear at the outset. If using an hourly approach, we share our trade discounts with our clients. If using a flat fee approach, item purchasing generally matches retail price.

Purchasing

Purchase ordering is the unglamorous side of interior design. As part of a full-service approach, we take care of these tedious details for you, including processing, tracking, procurement, and any follow ups needed. As your single point of contact, we provide you regular updates as pieces arrive to a holding warehouse, and resolve any issues. When all pieces arrive, we schedule delivery to your home and installation.
